It’s been a sweltering summer here in Burlington, but luckily for us we have some cool clients who have kept us busy with some really fun projects. Here are a few builds we’ve been lucky enough to work on:
With offices in Vermont, Colorado, Utah and Idaho you know that the team at SE Group has one thing on their mind: POWDER!! SE Group is a strategic planning, permitting, and design firm who’s primary focus is on making ski resorts as rad as possible. They, of course, aren’t limited to turning mountains into ski destinations and in fact just recently helped USM Interactive reassess our parking lot to fit a few more cars. SE Group came to us with an older website that didn’t quite show off the great work they do – so we created a very robust portfolio tool, which could be viewed based on any number of criteria.
City of Burlington: Department of Parks and Recreation
Getting involved in the community is very important to us as a company, so we were thrilled when the City of Burlington came to us for help on their Parks and Rec website. Similarly to SE Group, BPR was faced with issues on how residents were finding events, and how to best sort their many many parks. We created a site that was built for mobile devices and then expanded upon that to create a much more enriching desktop experience. This is a huge departure from what their site was and is something we’re very proud of around the offices.
Top Hat Entertainment
Chances are if you’ve been to any event in and around Vermont that Top Hat Entertainment was responsible for kicking out the jams. Top Hat is a longtime USM client and was long overdue for a redesign that took into account the high volume of mobile users that were coming to their site. This site was a ton of fun to build, mostly because during the research phase we came to a realization that there weren’t many (any) really great DJ websites out there, which allowed us to be very creative in the user experience we built. We designed a super clean, easy to navigate website that works amazingly on mobile devices. Mike and Heather were a lot of fun to work with and we can’t wait to see how many people they help raise the roof at their events!
The Elizabeth Coalition for the Homeless
Based in New Jersey, The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless was one of the first organizations to advocate on behalf of homeless people in the State. We wanted to design a website that excelled at two primary goals: education and donations. Not only does their new site succeed in helping drive donations, but it is also helped cut down, significantly, the amount of time volunteers were spending managing the website. WordPress is the best!
